Laredo BorderSlam is proud to be taking not one, but TWO teams to represent our talented community at SouthWest ShootOut in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the end of this month!
Both teams will be dueling it out with their original poems against 20 other teams in order to bring home the title of SouthWest Champions!!
Come join these aspiring poets in a night of music and poetry to motivate and support this ever growing art movement.
Poets featured will be Alec Martinez, Anacristina Chapa, Beatriz Ceja, Bobert Batey, Eli Ceja, Jerry "Mapache" Piña, Jorge "Gino" Quijano, Julia Orduña.
Acoustic sets performed by Sergical Saenz and Jewels in the Sky.
